Our basic skills classes are held outdoors starting in April and June at the Liberty Fire Company grounds in Sinking Spring and are held indoors starting in September and January at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township.

The Berks County Dog Training Club
can train you to train your dog.

The next class for dogs 6 months of age or older will have orientation Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at the Liberty Fire Company grounds at 7 p.m.  You can choose a 7 p.m. Tuesday class that begins the following week or a 10 a.m. Saturday class that begins that week, July 16 . Have a puppy? Try the AKC S.T.A.R.  Puppy Class. It also is having orientation without dogs at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at the at the Liberty Fire Company grounds. However, classes will be held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., starting the next night, July 12 . Click the AKC STAR Puppy button above for details. Registration form here.

The classes will be outdoors at the Liberty Fire Company grounds in Sinking Spring (836 Ruth St., Sinking Spring, PA 19608).

Registration forms for any of the above classes must be received no later than one week before orientation.

The Berks County Dog Training Club was founded in 1946 as a not-for-profit organization with the purpose of training you to train your dog. To this day we continue with that same purpose. Through the years we have grown to a membership of several hundred people. We are a very active group with many dedicated volunteers who would welcome the opportunity to "train you to train your dog."
