Our basic skills classes are held outdoors starting in April and June at the Liberty Fire Company grounds in Sinking Spring and are held indoors starting in September and January at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township.

Need to get on the same page with your dog? Want to have him or her walk nicely on leash, come when called, settle down when meeting other dogs or people?

The Berks County Dog Training Club can train you to train your dog.

The next class for dogs 6 months of age or older will have orientation January 20, 2015, at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township at 7 p.m.  You can chose a class at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m.  that begins the following Tuesday. Click the Basic Skills Class button above for full details. New forms coming soon.

Have a puppy? Try the AKC S.T.A.R.  Puppy Class. It also is having orientation without dogs at 7 p.m. on January 20, 2015, at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township. However, classes will be held on Thursdays at 8 p.m., starting Jan. 22. Click the AKC STAR Puppy button above for details. New forms coming soon.

The Berks County Dog Training Club was founded in 1946 as a not-for-profit organization with the purpose of training you to train your dog. To this day we continue with that same purpose. Through the years we have grown to a membership of several hundred people. We are a very active group with many dedicated volunteers who would welcome the opportunity to "train you to train your dog."
